C.C.A.S Jain Girls (PG) College was established in 2006 under the blessings of Acharya Shri Dhram Bhushan ji who perpetuated the memories of Charitra Chakarvarty Acharya Shri 108 Shanti Sagar ji Maharaj .It is run by C.C.A.S Jain educational society with honourable Sh. Anand jain ji as its President, who has infused great dynamism and vision in keeping with the traditional, yet modern values.

Since its inception the college has recorded a remarkable growth in all directions .The strength of students has raised from 106 to 650. The college has earned a name in all girls colleges under M.D.U Rohtak. It is a premier and eminent institution imparting value based education. This is beautifully reflected by the fact that 17% girls of this college held academic meritorious positions in M.D.U University examination in April, 2017. The girls have also shown their talent and expertise in various cultural, activities, quiz competitions, sports etc. All has been possible due to personal interest of staff and keenness of the students to excel in all areas of human activities.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Subjects: Psychology & History The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor in History/Psychology must fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions prescribed by Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak / UGC / Government of Haryana, as applicable from time to time. Minimum Educational Qualifications 1. Master's Degree in the concerned/relevant subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed. 2. For candidates belonging to the categories for which relaxation is admissible under the applicable rules, the minimum qualifying marks shall be 50%, wherever applicable. 3. The candidate must have qualified UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR-NET / SLET / SET, as applicable, in the concerned/relevant subject. 4. Candidates having a Ph.D. degree shall be eligible for exemption from NET only where such exemption is permissible under the applicable UGC Regulations / MDU rules. 5. The candidate must fulfil the prescribed eligibility in the concerned/relevant subject. The equivalence/relevance of the subject shall be determined in accordance with the applicable University/UGC rules. 6. The candidate must fulfil all other conditions prescribed by UGC, Government of Haryana and Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, including conditions relating to qualifications, reservation, category, age, documents and selection procedure, wherever applicable. Important Note The eligibility conditions, qualifications and other terms shall be governed by the latest applicable rules/notifications issued by UGC, Government of Haryana and Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. In case of any amendment/change in the applicable rules, the latest provisions shall prevail. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for the post.
