Brief Panorama of College
C.C.A.S Jain Girls (PG) College was established in 2006 with the blessings of Acharya Shri Dhram Bhushan ji who perpetuated the memories of Charitra Chakarvarty Acharya Shri 108 Shanti Sagar ji Maharaj .It is run by C.C.A.S Jain Educational Society with honourable Sh. Anand jain ji as its President, who has infused great dynamism and vision in keeping with the traditional, yet modern values.
Since its inception the college has recorded a remarkable growth in all directions .The strength of students has risen from 106 to 650. The college has earned a name amogst all girls colleges under M.D.U Rohtak. It is a premier and eminent institution imparting value based education. This is beautifully reflected by the fact that 38% girls of this college held academically meritorious positions in M.D.U University examination in April, 2017. The girls have also shown their talent and penchant in various cultural, activities, quiz competitions, sports etc.
All this has been possible due to personal interest of staff and keenness of the students to excel in all areas of human activities. The college has an independent and well developed campus , spread over 7 acres of land , situated on the G.T road, NH-1 and surrounded by greenery .It has all the necessary physical infrastructure as per the university norms.
The college has a definite mission which is to cater to the educational needs of this rural belt with definite focus on women –empowerment and girls education.
Presently the college imparts education in these disciplines :-
Under Graduate Courses : Arts, Commerce, Science(Medical, Non-Medical) and Computer Science.
Post Graduate courses : English, Political Science and Commerce.
The fleet of college buses provides transport facilities to girls from their houses to the college and back. Every care is taken to provide homely and safe environment to students. It will not be an exaggerations to claim that the college advances the spirit of human progress through women- empowerment. This spirit lies in envisioning a girl sitting at nucleus of a good family and spreading the enlightenment leading to the well – being of all. It is believed that if the girl is educated, she can make a good human society and consequently a great nation. And our college endeavors in this mission under the spirited vision of the President Sh. Anand Jain and the Principal Dr. S.K Malhotra, who are whole heartedly devoted to this modest human endeavour.
There is a charitable hospital on college campus itself, which has certified dispensary, doctors and nurses who take good care of health issues of the students as well as the citizens of the adjoining rural areas on charitable basis.
